9. Mains Connection
The mains socket to which the device is connected must be easily accessible so that it can be
quickly separated from the mains voltage in case of an error.
The DJ station and all connected devices must be turned off when connecting the voltage
supply.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
• Connect the small device connection plug of the power line to the power connection AC IN (45) on the device.
• Plug the mains plug into a wall socket.
• This POWER (46) mains switch switches the player on and off.
ON > device is switched on
OFF > device is switched off
10. Commissioning
Check again that all connections are correct. Do not put the product into operation if it is
damaged.
The amplifier for this equipment should always be the last to be turned on and the first to be
turned off. This will prevent any undesired noises (which can typically occur when switching
off the device) from damaging the amplifier or loudspeakers.
Make sure that the connected devices are not overloaded. Playback must never be distorted.
If distorted music signals can be heard although the volume on the amplifier is not set too high,
switch off the DJ station immediately and check the connection. If the connection is correct,
please contact a specialist.
The device must only be operated by persons familiar with the operating instructions and
observing them. Keep other persons and children away from the device.
a) Switching on
• Turn the volume control of the connected amplifier down completely.
• Turn the MASTER VOL (35) control to the minimum as well (left stop).
• Switch on the DJ station using the mains switch POWER (46).
• Then switch on any connected audio devices and then the amplifier.
