b) Inserting a CD
• Press the EJECT button (1) of the desired drive and put a CD in the CD tray (24) with the printed side facing
upwards.
• Press the EJECT button (1) again. The CD tray (24) is closed again.
Do not insert any damaged CDs into the player. The high rotational speed may cause it to crack and
damage the device. Do not insert more than one CD.
Never obstruct the movement of the CD tray. Do not force the CD tray into the drive. This damages the
mechanism and leads to malfunctions.
• When a CD is inserted, the display (16) shows information about the CD for a short time.
• Then, the device automatically sets the CUE mark at the beginning of music in the first track on the CD and goes
into pause mode.
The CD cannot be ejected during CD playback. This makes sure that the playback is not interrupted
unintentionally. Before pushing the OPEN/CLOSE button (1), stop playback.
