d) Volume Control
• Control the volume to the minimum value with the amplifier connected.
• Turn the MASTER VOL (35) and GAIN (36) controllers to a minimum.
• Set the sliders CH1/CH2 (42) to minimum as well.
• Select the desired playback source as described before.
• Start playback. If there is a volume control in this playback source, set approx. 75% of the maximum volume here.
• Push the corresponding slider CH1/CH2 (42) all the way to the top.
• Turn the control MASTER VOL (35) to the maximum.
• You can set the signal level with the GAIN control (36). The signal level can now be read from the LED level
display (34). It should not exceed 0dB.
• Now set the desired maximum volume with the volume control on the amplifier. No distortion must arise here.
• With the controls HIGH (37), MID (38) and LOW (39), you can change the playback sound.
• Repeat the setting for the other mixer channel. The channels should have about the same volume, so that no high
volume differences may occur when fading over between the channels and you have to re-adjust the output
signal.
• After you have made these settings, use only the control MASTER VOL (35) to adjust the playback volume.
Make sure that the connected speakers and the amplifier are not overloaded. Playback must
never be distorted.
If there are any distorted music signals even though the volume on the amplifier is not set too
high and the mixer has been set correctly, switch off the DJ station immediately and check the
connection. If the connection is correct, please contact a specialist.
