Portegra2 systems have successfully undergone tests of over 100,000 cycles in normal use

and comply to a life cycle of 10 years.

Due to the various MAVIG safety features, Portegra2 systems remain safe well beyond the

tested service life. Although the system’s performance can change due to normal mechanical

wear.
