When the water pressure exceeds 2.0 bar in the patient water circuit and 1.5 bar
in the cardioplegia water circuit, the HCU 40's safety system switches the
respective pump off immediately. 1.5 bar and 1.0 bar are set at the factory for the
patient water circuit and the cardioplegia water circuit respectively.
In accordance with DIN EN 80601-2-35, the mean value of the setpoint
temperature for the warming/cooling blanket does not deviate by more than ±1°C.
When this limit is exceeded, an alarm is emitted optically and acoustically
