Changing the Flash Auto Adjustment Procedure
Flash compensation and exposure compensation may be set independently, or
combined when a Metz flash and SCA 3952 Adapter are used.
1. Install the SCA 3952 Adapter on the Metz flash.
2. Insert the adapter and flash in the camera's
hotshoe, and then turn the Locking Knob (A) to
secure the unit to the camera.
3. Press the Key for about two seconds. The
Main LCD Panel will display Func.
4. Turn the Front or Rear Dial and select FSEL.
When FSEL is set to FSEL O, the Exposure
Compensation Dial is disabled, only the Flash
Compensation is enabled.
5. Pres the Key, and then turn Front or Rear
Dial to select 1.
6. Press the Button for about two seconds to
register the setting. Flash and exposure compen-
sation can be set independently.
7. Turn the flash unit ON.
Press the Button to show (flash compensation).
8. Turn the Front or Rear Dial to flash compensation
value. Turn the Exposure Compensation Dial to
select the exposure compensation.
Main LCD Panel (normal display)
9. Press the Shutter Release Button down halfway.
o (positive adjustment) or u (negative adjustment)
will be displayed on the Main LCD Panel and in
the viewfinder.
Viewfinder LCD Readouts
If you turn the Shutter Release Mode Selector Lever to "L" (power OFF), the
flash compensation value will be canceled and return to .
Exiting the Function
Repeat Steps 1 - 4, turn the Front or Rear Dial to select 0, and then press the
Button for about two seconds to register the change.
