9.5.3 NIBP (Noninvasive Blood Pressure) Measurement/Display
Note: Systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurements determined with
this device are equivalent to those obtained by a trained observer using
the cuff/stethoscope auscultation method, within the limits prescribed
by the American National Standard,
Electronic or automated
sphygmomanometers.
Technique: Oscillometric
Measurement Modes:
Auto: Automatic BP measurements at intervals of 1, 3, 5,
10, 15, 30, 60, and 90 minutes
Manual: Single measurement initiated by NIBP Start/Stop
switch
STAT: Series of consecutive measurements for 5 minutes
Cuff Pressure Display: 10mmHg to 300 mmHg

Systolic: 60 mmHg to 250 mmHg
Mean Arterial
Pressure: 30 mmHg to 235 mmHg
