Alarm List
Max XCV
The MAX XCV alarm will occur in the locked mode if the calculated voltage
exceeds 10.00 VDC at the extruder. After the occurrence of this alarm the
system will automatically unlock and hold the last known voltage. To reset
you must cycle the Manual / Lock switch.
Max TCV
The MAX TCV alarm will occur in the locked mode if the calculated voltage
exceeds 10.00 VDC at the takeoff. After the occurrence of this alarm the
system will automatically unlock and hold the last known voltage. To reset
you must cycle the Manual / Lock switch.
Zero Weight
After calibrating the load cells, if the weight is ever less then zero this alarm
will occur. This typically indicates that the weigh hopper is missing.
No Rate
The No Rate Alarm occurs in the locked mode when the controller fails to
measure a loss in weight. This could be caused by a blockage at the throat.
No Pulse
The No Pulse alarm occurs if there is voltage on the takeoff pot but the
controller fails to see pulses within one minute from the encoder mounted on
the takeoff. This can be caused by faulty mounting of the encoder, a bad wire
connection to the encoder, or a damaged encoder.
XUL Upper Limit The XUL Upper Limit alarm occurs in locked mode if adjustments to the XCV
(extruder voltage) exceed the locked voltage plus the voltage in the XUL
parameter. This can be used to indicate that the extruder screen needs to be
changed.
No Fill
The No Fill alarm occurs 30 seconds after the fill valve opens to fill. Set by
the LLF. If after 30 seconds the HLF is not reached then the No Fill alarm
sounds. This normally indicates no reserve above the Loss in Weight hopper.
