Video Output On-Screen Displays
MENU On-Screen Display
The Menu operation can be accessed with the Magni IR remote controller or by pressing the MCP 601
IR button under the Config tab of the Magni Premier application software. To view the on –screen
MENU display, set the mix level on the FX-1 Controller to 100% graphics so that only graphics is
being displayed on the analog and SDI video outputs. Press the MENU button on the IR Remote
Controller. The menu will then display on the video output screen (not on the VGA monitor). The
SETUP screen will have Memories, Display, Input Video, Cutout, Serial Ports and Systems ID as
selections.
Notes:
1.
Move up or down on the Menu list with the up or down arrow buttons.
2.
Press ENTER button to access the item selected.
3.
PREV button to go back one level
4.
CLEAR button to clear the menu
5.
Indicates factory defaults.
MENU ITEMS
:
(For Setup. Access from IR remote controller or from the Magni Premier Application Software)
MEMORIES: The memory number is indicated on screen. Press left or right arrow button to change to
a different memory. Each memory location can have Save, Recall, Defaults and Erase functions.

Highlight Memories, select either PowerUp, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10 or ALL via left or
right buttons

Save: To save a memory
Press ENTER to select, then press ENTER to confirm

Recall: To recall a memory
Press ENTER to select, then press ENTER to confirm
•
Defaults: To over-write memory and restored to factory default setting.
Select Defaults for NTSC or Defaults to PAL
Press ENTER to select, then press ENTER to confirm
•
Erase: To erase a particular memory or all memories.
Press ENTER to select, then press ENTER to confirm
DISPLAYS: Setting of Filters, analog VGA, and DVI display characteristics.

Filters: Settings for Flicker (Vertical) and horizontal filters
Flicker:
Vertical flicker filtering
Normal
No filtering
Partial
25% averaging
Reduced 50% averaging. Reduced mode provides maximum filtering.
