for optimum viewing impact in the output video

Pan and zoom control for scaling and positioning a specific PC graphics area that you want
converted to video.
Software Control
The supplied Magni Premier application software is a Windows-controlled program that lets you configure
and operate the MCP-601. The Magni Premier software contains these four operational tabs.
•
MIX : Provides the operational controls that are most often accessed when combining graphics
and video. VGA pan /scan window, VGA zoom and underscan setup.
•
SIZE : Provides the controls for sizing the video squeeze output and key lockout window.
•
KEY : Provides the controls for selecting key modes and key colors.
•
CONFIG : Provides the configuration options for MCP-601-to- computer communication, setup
saving, graphics filtering, graphics and video input formats. The IR controller screen/function can
also be access in this tab by pressing the MCP-601 IR button.
In addition, an optional Software Developer Kit (SDK) is available for 3rd party developers for custom
software development.
Remote Controllers
You can also operate the MCP-601 (independent of the Magni Premier software) using an external FX-1
controller or IR remote controller.

Hardware and Software Requirements
•
IBM-compatible computer with hard disk drive, CD ROM drive and at least 64 Megabytes (MB)
of system RAM for initial setup and graphics generation. Windows 98, Windows 2000 or
Windows XP compatible.

On-board VGA controller or a VGA add-in card that supports one or dual VGA, one with both
DVI and VGA outputs, and resolutions up to 1600 x 1280 at refresh rate of 60 Hz through 85 Hz
•
Available USB and/or RS-232 communication ports
•
Multi-frequency or standard DVI/VGA or VGA monitor (for initial setup and viewing of
computer generated graphics)
•
SDI, Component, Composite or S-video monitor (required for viewing video outputs)
Optional Hardware
•
SDI, Composite, S-video, or Component video input source such as a video server, video
recorder, video camera, or studio switcher.
•
SDI, Composite, S-video, or Component video recorder to record video output.
