Key Edge filter

Two modes, Hard or Soft.
•
Soft, reduces motion artifacts on keyed graphics.
•
Hard, provides sharpest key on anti-alias and custom graphics.
Key width

There are two key signal widths; Narrow and Wide
•
Wide, reduces halo of selected color on horizontal edges.
•
Narrow, allows single line graphics to be fully keyed.
Recommended Settings
For best overlay and keying result, the recommended settings (setup with the Magni Premier
application software or custom software utilizing the command codes, see Appendix C) are follows:

Mix
tab:
VGA Zoom 1 to 1
for exact pixel conversion to the native video resolution.

tab:
Key Edge Filter, Soft
Key Width, Wide
Note: using Key Width, Narrow for graphics with one pixel wide line width.
Key Range, 25 nominal
Note: VGA Zoom 1 to 1 mode: decrease range to 10
Increase range if possible for Full VGA or all other modes.
