MAINTENANCE WORK

COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM

Maintenance manual MT 25 / 30 YT

Check compressed air line

Fig. 39: Compressed air line

Loosen the fastenings on the compressor side and the com-
pressed air side

Remove the compressed air line.

Pull the compressed air line straight.

Hold the compressed air line against a light source.

Check the inside of the hose for oil carbon deposits.

Replace the compressed air line when there is some oil car-
bon deposits.

In case of heavy oil carbon deposits, have the compressor
additionally checked by a specialist.

Reinstall the compressed air line.

Connect the compressed air line with the fasteners

Check compressed air tank

Regeneration air tank

Carry out a visual inspection of the compressed air tanks.

Check the compressed air tanks for damages and leaks.

Check the compressed air tanks for corrosion.

Check the mounting straps for proper tightness.
