for the operational safety of the MT.

Checking the tightening torques

X Be sure to retighten all wheel nuts with the specified torque
before the initial operation and after the wheel exchange.
X Retighten the torque of the wheel nuts after the first drive
under load, the latest though after 24 operating hours.
X Tighten wheel nuts crosswise, see Fig. 52.
Make sure tightening torques for the wheel nuts are correct.
Use a torque key for retightening the wheel nuts.

“Tightening Torque” plate.
