The transmission is equipped with an oil level sensor. You can
read out the oil level and the oil level sensor errors on the dis-
play in the operating panel for the transmission.
In order to read out the oil level without error, the following con-
ditions must be met:
z The MT is parked on level ground.
z
The transmission is shifted into neutral N .
z The engine is running at low idle speed.
z
The transmission output shaft stands still, i.e. the MT does
not more.
z
The oil temperature lies between 60 °C and 93 °C maxi-
mum.
z
The transmission oil needs to settle, which means that the
MT has not moved for at least two minutes.
