Change hydraulic oil

Park the MT on level ground.
X
Lower the fifth wheel completely and straighten the front
wheels.
X
Stop the motor and withdraw the ignition key.
X
Clean the oil drain plug and the filler neck.
X
Place a suitable collection container underneath.
Note the filling quantity,
see “Filling quantity” on page 96 .
X
Screw out the oil drain plug and let the oil drain into the col-
lection container.

Screw the oil drain plug back in.
X
Fill new hydraulic oil through the oil filter.
Note the filling quantity,
see “Filling quantity” on page 96 .

Check the level of the fill level and check the hydraulic sys-
tem for leaks.

X Park the MT on level ground.
X
Stop the motor and withdraw the ignition key.
X Loosen the screws of the filter housing cap 2 and remove
the filter housing cap 2 .
X Remove the filter cartridges 1 .
X
Clean the magnet.
If metal chips are found on the magnet, have technicians
inspect the hydraulic system.
X Insert a new filter cartridges 1 .
X
Replace the O-ring at the filter housing cap 2 .
X Screw the filter housing cap 2 onto the filter housing.
