Operation

Note:

Use UV Safety Eye Glasses provided before

powering up the system

5.1

Powering Up/Powering Down

5.1.1

Ensure that the LED head(s) has been properly
installed as per instructions in section

5.1.2

Plug in the

OmniCure LX400+

power adaptor into a

properly grounded electrical outlet.

5.1.3

Ensure the safety interlock connector has been
properly connected.

5.1.4

Insert the key and turn clockwise from “

” (OFF)

position to “

” (ON) Position. “System Ready” indicator

(red) will be on.

5.1.5

Panel will display the current software version installed
in the main controller.

5.1.6

Panel will then search for LED heads installed,
displaying sequence

1 2 3 4

from left to right. Periods

(dots) indicate that the head at that location has not
been detected. (E.g.

1 . . .

indicates that only head 1 is

present.)

- head installed in number 1 connection.

Once the display runs through this sequence the
system is ready to use, there is no reset or warm up
sequence required.
