Installation Procedures 

4.1 

General Installation 

Note:

 Before any installation occurs ensure the controller key 

is either removed from the unit or in the off position. 

 
Note:

 Prior to the following procedures it is determined that the 

user has established the LED UV head location and 
position based on the results of a series of testing and 
trials. 

 

Note: Refer to OmniCure® LED Head Assembly 

Specification Guide 035-00433R for LED Head 
specifications. 

4.1.1 

Upon determining the working location of the 
controller, ensure access to the AC power source does 
not cause any possible obstruction with the power 
cable connection from the source to the controller. 

4.1.2 

Ensure the remote Safety Interlock is connected 
before start-up as the LED light will not turn on. Refer 
to 

Figure 2

 

and section 

7.6.

  

4.1.3 

Connect the LED UV head cable to the rear of the 
controller via the quick release fittings. 

4.1.4 

Upon determining the working location of the LED UV 
head, attach the head to the mounting fixture via user 
supplied configuration or utilize the LDG supplied 
installation clamp. 

4.1.5 

Install the supplied installation clamp to the existing 
fixture using either the 3 metric threaded screw holes 
or the 3 imperial threaded screw holes. The two end 
faces of the installation bracket are identified for metric 
and imperial thread sizes.
