1. Introduction
Congratulations to your purchase of cowCam™ from LUDA Elektronik AB.
Your cowCam™-solution gives you safe supervision of the cattle in your barn. The portable and
wireless receiver will allow you to have a constant supervision and will allow you to keep an eye on
your livestock.
We hope that the cowCam™-solution will satisfy your needs and will exceed your expectations.
The products of LUDA Elektronik AB operate on the 2,4 GHz frequency and has a standard range
of 100 meters at a clear line of sight. Due to the A300 directional antennas the range will increase
to 800 meters at a clear line of sight without increasing the transmitting effect of the camera. The
camera, videoLink and the LCD-monitor is compatible with all LUDA Elektronik AB equipment.
Notice that LUDA Elektroniks’ products transmit on an open frequency and that the signal is not
encrypted. This means that the signal can be captured by another 2,4GHz device within the camera
range.
The product is CE-certified which means that it fulfils all established rules and demands for usage
within the EU. The CE-certification further implies that the radiation level is below the established
radiation levels stated in the EMC directive 89/336/EEC and R&TTE directive (1999/5/EC).
