To remove a PIN from a level and leave it unlocked, set the PIN to 0000. No PIN is required
when set to 0000.
3.22.2
Update Firmware
LSC Control Systems has a corporate policy of continuous improvement to its products. The
UNITOUR software (firmware) is subject to this policy as new features are added and existing
features improved. The software version of your UNITOUR can be checked from the Main
Menu by tapping
?
in the top left corner of the “Home Menu”.
The latest firmware for UNITOUR can be downloaded from the LSC website. On a USB
memory stick, create a folder called LSC (in the root directory) and copy the upgrade file into
the LSC folder.

you sure you want to proceed?
”. Tap
YES

The screen shows the progress of the upgrade to the various modules of UNITY. When the
update is finished tap
REBOOT
to complete the upgrade.

Configure Syslog
SYSLOG is a standard for message logging. It allows separation of the software that
generates messages, the system that stores them and the software that reports and analyses
the data. This allows a single computer to monitor any number of UNITOUR racks on a
network and store their log messages and act on them if desired.
The “Configure Syslog” menu allows you to either enable or disable Syslog messages and
also set the IP address of the Syslog server.

Tap
the box above “IP Address” then use the keyboard that pops up to enter the IP address
of the Syslog server. To enable Syslog tap
