Menu item „2nd boiler“
Operation Mode
Backup:
This setting is adjustable!
The 2nd boiler is activated if the burner switch of boiler 1 (=main boiler) is set to OFF and the top
temperature has fallen below the required temperature threshold. It is deactivated if the buffer is
sufficiently loaded. For this purpose, no minimum running time is regarded!
Only boiler 1:
In case of a heat demand, only boiler 1 is activated. 2nd boiler is not activated.
Only boiler 2:
In case of a heat demand, only boiler 2 is activated. 1st boiler is not activated.
Peakload:
The 2nd boiler is activated if the expected buffer loading duration to the required temperature level
is longer than 2 hrs.
As soon as the temperature is reached, the 2nd boiler is deactivated.
Boilerorder:
Here, it can be entered after how many operation hours the "lead" changes from one boiler to the
other one.
The "lead" boiler starts first in case of a heat demand. If not enough energy is delivered by the lead
boiler to sufficiently load the top buffer, the 2nd boiler is added. Thus, the lead boiler has much
more operation hours.
To divide the operation hours as evenly as possible, this option was created.
Boiler 1 50h:
This value is adjustable!
This boiler is the "lead boiler" for 50 operation hours (meaning it starts first in case of a heat
demand). After 50 operation hours of boiler 1, the lead changes to boiler 2.
