In order to use the scientific calculator SC460 to its maximum capacity,
please read the following user manual attentively.
INTRODUCTION
Getting started
Before using the calculator for the first time, please follow the steps detailed
hereunder:
1. Unscrew the lid of the battery compartment with the help of a screwdriver
and remove the batteries. Replace the two LR44 batteries while respect-
ing the polarity indicated in the compartment (+ side on top). Replace the
cover of the compartment and screw it back into place.
2. Find the RESET button found at the back of the calculator. Insert a sharp
object (such as the tip of a paper clip) into the hole and press gently.
If the batteries have been correctly loaded, the icon
D
and the number
0 will be displayed, as well as a flashing cursor. If this does not occur,
remove and reinsert the batteries once again.

chapter.
3. Turn the calculator over and slide it into the cover case to have access to
the keyboard.
4. Remove the protective cover from the LCD screen.
5. Press the [ON] key to turn on the calculator. If the batteries have been
correctly loaded, the icon
D
and the number 0 will be displayed. If this is
not the case, remove and reinsert the batteries once more.
