The menus of the
Sensor Studio
device manager (DTM) can be used to change or read out the config
-
uration of the connected light curtain.
The user interface of the
Sensor Studio
device manager (DTM) is largely self-explanatory.
The online help system provides information on the menu items and adjustment parameters. Select the
Help menu item in the menu [?].
Error message when [establishing connection with the device]
If the device selected in the Device selection list of the
Sensor Studio
Project Wizard does not match the
configuration (bit rate and PD length) of the connected light curtain, an error message is displayed.
Under IDENTIFICATION > CxL-7XX Device IDs, you will find a list with the assignment of the device IDs
displayed in the error message to the device description in the device selection list.
Change the device selection in the device selection list according to the configuration (bit rate and
PD length) of the connected light curtain.
Alternatively, you can set the configuration (bit rate and PD-length) of the light curtain in the receiver
control panel corresponding to the device selection in the Device selection list.
In the
Sensor Studio
FDT frame, click on the [Establish connection with device] button (
).
