The following table describes the possible system event/error log messages and
suggested actions to correct the detected problems.
These actions in the following table have the following meanings:
Reseat the power supply
Complete the following steps:
1. Remove the power supply from the server (see “Removing the power
supply” on page 85).
2. Check the power supply for damage and for crimped or damaged
cables.
3. Install the power supply in the server (see “Installing the power supply”
on page 86).

Follow the suggested actions in the order in which they are listed in the Action column until the problem
is solved.
v See Chapter 3, “Parts listing, RS110 Types 6435, 6436, 6437 and 6438 server,” on page 27 to determine
which components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable
units (FRU).
v If an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must be performed only by a
trained service technician.
