4.
Remove
the
top
nuts
and
washers.
There
are
three
sets
–
one
set
on
each
threaded
rod.
Save
the
washers
and
nuts
for
later
use
in
assembling
the
membranes.
5.
Remove
the
upper
membrane,
sliding
the
clamp
over
the
threaded
rods.
Turn
the
remaining
nuts
until
they
are
approximately
½”
to
¾”
lower
than
their
original
position.
6.
Remove
the
spacer
ring
from
the
top
of
the
bottom
membrane
then
remove
the
membrane
coupler.
7.
Remove
the
clamp
rings
from
both
membranes
by
removing
the
bolts
securing
the
two
halves
of
the
rings.

1.
Place
a
membrane
on
a
clean
solid
surface
with
the
brine
seal
on
the
top
end.
Remove
the
brine
seal
(if
it
is
in
place).
