1000ppm:
The H
2
reading is only for compensation purposes and should not be used to take
measurements.
To calibrate the H
2
compensated CO channel, both the CO and H
2
need to be zeroed and
then spanned separately.
It is probably easiest at this point to set the span values of the different gases that will
be used to calibrate the instrument. The span value is the concentration of the
calibration gas.

Main menu
select Field
Calibration
Run the pump
(no pipes)
Clean Air Purge
2 – 3 mins
Stop the pump

Zero CO
Zero H

Attach Regulator
to the Inlet Port
and turn on the
gas
Allow gas to flow
through the unit
for approx. 2 mins
Note: ‘a’ values will
increase
