ECO Green hydraulic connection
⚫
The softener is now ready to be installed.
⚫
Place the softener in a suitably hygienic location.
⚫
The device must be placed on a flat floor.
⚫
Devices should be protected against freezing, general humidity and heat sources (max.
40 °C).
⚫
They must be hydraulically connected as shown in Fig. 2, by connecting the
hard water inlet and softened water outlet as the arrows show on the valve.
⚫
Connect to the drain located at the rear of the device (see Fig. 2).
⚫
The drain tube must be visible and allow inspection. Breaks in the drain tube and
funnel-shaped drain collection sump must be provided for (see Fig. 2).
⚫
The funnel-shaped drain collection sump must not exceed a gap of 1.5 m
from the floor. The drain tube must be no longer than 4 m and must not create
any significant flow limitations (see Fig. 2).
⚫
In addition, connect the overflow to one of the two arrangements on the rear part of
the cabinet, inserting the tube into one and plugging the one that is not used with a
suitable plug (See Fig. 2 pos. 12 and 15).
N.B.:
The inlet water
pressure must be
between 1.4 and 6 bar.
For higher pressures,
install a pressure
reducing valve.
The inlet water
pressure must be min.
2 °C and max. 45 °C.
