determining the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini’s IP address.
Obtain configuration from DHCP server
This method is utilized when the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini is
connected to a DHCP enabled network with a DHCP
server. In this case, the server provides the IP address for
the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini.
Configure manually:
This method is utilized when the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini is
connected to a non-DHCP enabled network. In this case,
you will need to manually assign the correct network
settings for your LaCie Ethernet Disk mini. Please refer to
your network administrator for more information about
your network and which parameters you should use.

P Address –
This is the IP address that you want to assign to the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini.
Sub-net Mask –
This is the subnet mask that is associated with the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini’s assigned IP address.
Default Gateway –
This is the default IP address of the Gateway that is available for the specified network.
DNS Server –
This is the IP address of the DNS server which handles the routing and resolution of names.
