Drive Mode LED -
This LED indicates the
drive mode.

Blinking

Ready for sensor input – a finger
can be swiped

Biometric Fingerprint Sensor -
This is where
you swipe your finger to gain access to your
LaCie d2 SAFE Hard Drive. See chapter
3.1., How to Use the Fingerprint sensor,
for
more information.

Power LED /Activity LED -
The LED remains
lit to show that the drive is on, and blinks to
indicate drive activity.
