Configuring Your LaCie d2 SAFE Drive
After you have installed
SAFE Hard Drive Config-
uration
, you will use the First Use Assistant to register
an administrator who will have full access and configu-
ration permissions.
To open the Assistant:
Mac Users can either:
Click on the SAFE Hard Drive icon (
)in the
menu bar and select
Configure...
In the Finder, select
Go Utilities SAFE Hard
Drive Configuration
.
Windows Users can either:
Click on the SAFE Hard Drive icon (
) in the
task bar and select
Configure...
Select
Start

opens first, click

to con-
tinue.
If you agree to the terms of the LaCie license agree-
ment, click on the
I agree
button to continue. See
Fig. 5.1. You will not be able to continue with setup
or use your SAFE Hard Drive if you do agree to the
terms and conditions.

dot, the SAFE Hard Drive may not be properly
