Testing Your Washer 

 
Now that you have made the required water and electrical 
connections to your washer, you need to test the operation 
of the washer.  A series of diagnostic steps are provided in 
this section.   
 

If the washer is interrupted in the middle 
of the diagnostic steps, wait 4 to 5 
seconds before opening the washer door 
to prevent hot water from splashing out.  
The hot water and steam from the 
washer may cause scalding.
