Phone Basics

Quick Settings Panel

The Quick Settings panel allows you easy access to common phone settings. For more information
on the settings menus, see

Settings

To open the Quick Settings panel:

1. Swipe down with two fingers from the top of any screen.

– or –

Drag down from the top of the screen to open the Notifications panel, and then touch the Quick

Settings icon

at the top right.

2. Touch a specific setting to open it.

You can touch the toggle icon

to switch between notification panel and quick settings

panel.

Status Bar

The status bar at the top of the home screen provides phone and service status information on the
right side and notification alerts on the left. To view notification alerts, touch the status bar and drag it
down.
