(6) Detaching and refitting the fixing unit thermistor

Follow the procedure below to check or replace the fixing unit thermistor.

Procedure

1. Remove the fixing unit (see page 1-6-55).
2. Remove the two screws holding the fixing

upper cover and then the cover.

3. Remove the screw holding the fixing unit

thermistor and disconnect the connector, and
then remove the thermistor.

4. Check or replace the fixing unit thermistor

and all the removed parts.
