Press
Start Sequence
on the control bar to start the
machining process. The front section will start to
machine the hinge pocked on the jamb and door. The
back section will machine the lock and lock plate.
Load the hinge on the Six Shooter alignment plate with
the hinge pin towards the top of the door and the counter
sinks facing out. The alignment plate is magnetic and will
hold the hinge in place.
Note:
For the Spring loaded Hinge Knuckle option, see
“Option: Quick Change Knuckle Assembly” on page 4-23.
Caution: Be prepared for the front section rout
-
ers to move into position and begin routing, as
well as the back section routers, lock bore, and
bolt drill.
Slide the Six Shooter over and position it into the H-Block
using the Ryertex guides.

Press the
Start Sequence
button to move the
Six Shooter into position and drop the screws.
The Six Shooter will snap into place.
2.
When fully seated, press the
Insert Screw
Button to attach the six screws
3.
Press the
Reset
switch to raise the Six
Shooter out of the hinge pocket.
4.
Repeat steps 1-3 for each Hinge.
5.
Return the Six Shooter to the park (starting)
position. The machine will not run if this is
not completed.
6.
When finished with Hinges, unclamp the door and jamb by either
pressing the
Unclamp
button on the Six Shooter or pressing the
Jamb Clamp foot pedal.
To continue, repeat from the load door section in this quick start.
If completed, shut down the machine. See “How to Power Down the 994-X” on
page 2-6 .
