Basic Operation of the RTS

FIGURE 4-16.

RTS Operation

Steel Drop Tubes: 

Screws are dropped 

into the tubes and air 

injected. Screws are 

sent to the machine.

To 994-X

Cylinders (X2): 

Extends drop plate to be flush with 

Hopper to allow clean drop of screws. 

Retracts when screws are dropped. 

Repeats cycle for next Hopper.

Gauge and Adjustment: 

Adjusts the air pressure to 

the air tubes. Typical is PSI is 

listed on the machine.
