About the Hopper

KVAL 994-X Operation Manual

Option: Quick Change Knuckle Assembly

This option adds the ability to switch from a standard (narrow barrel) knuckle hinge to a wide

spring-knuckle hinge. Changeover time between knuckle sizes is approximately 1 second. A

switch that is located on the Hinge Applicator triggers a solenoid to retract. Space is then provided

for a wide spring hinge.

To Use this Function:

Flip the switch to activate the Solenoid. Place the wide knuckle hinge into the Hinge Appli

cator.
