Extraction
<Applying Lysate to Cartridges>
(1) Apply lysate to each Cartridge.
Transfer the lysate into the Cartridges by
decantation or using pipette. In this operation, take
care not to touch the filter in the Cartridge, the rim
of Cartridge.
Note
：
If any lysate is left on the rim of a Cartridge or on the
Cartridge Holder, wipe it off with a soft paper tissue
(Refer to
“3 Maintenance”).
(2) Set the Pressure Seal Plate covering the Cartridges.
Important
：
·
Keep the stainless steel side up, the silicone
rubber (Packing) side down and the Packing
towards to the Cartridges while setting the
Pressure Seal Plate.

Check the position of Pressure Seal Plate to
make sure the both ends of Pressure Seal Plate
are inserted in the notches of Cartridge holder.
Note
：
Do not use the soiled Pressure Seal Plate.
If the Pressure Seal Plate gets dirty, clean it before
using (Refer to
“3.2 Cleaning the Parts”).
(3) Set the Cartridge Holder and Tube Holder into
QuickGene-Mini8L. Make sure that the first row of
Cartridge/Tube Holder unit is placed at the stopper
which located just under the Pressure Head inside
the machine with a gentle push.
