Decalcifying procedure
• With the oven switched off (only the time and possibly the timer may be in
operation), press the
button and use the control dial
to select
“decalcifying”.
• Confirm the setting with the
button. The clear text display will indicate
“commence decalcifying”.
• Press the
button once again. The clear text display now indicates “fill in
0.5l of decalcifier and press the OK button”.
• Remove the water tank and empty it. Fill in the entire contents of the “appliance
decalcifying agent bottle“. Do not dilute.
• Replace the water tank.
• Press the
button.
– The decalcifying stage commences.
– The clear text display indicates “decalcifying in progress”.
Subsequent to this phase, which takes approx. 30 minutes, the clear text display
indicates “empty the decalcifier and fill in 1.2 l water”.
• Remove the water tank, pour out the decalcifying mixture and fill the tank with
1.2 liters of cold water.
• Replace the water tank.
– The rinsing phase starts automatically (even if the oven door is open).
– The clear text display indicates “decalcifying, 1st rinse”.
After the first rinse, the clear text display indicates “pour out the water and refill
1.2 l water”.
• Remove the water tank, pour out the water and refill the tank with 1.2 litres of
cold water.
• Replace the water tank.
– The rinsing phase starts automatically (even if the oven door is open).
For safety reasons, it is not possible to interrupt the
decalcifying process once it has been commenced.
Decalcifying can be carried out with the oven door open or closed.
