... Cooking and baking
28
End of cooking time
• Take the baked bread out of the oven.
Switching the oven off
• Press the
button.
– The indicator light of the heating mode in question will go off. In addition,
should they have been set, the operating duration and the end of operation
displays will switch off.
– At the end of the cooking process, steam dissipation may take place in the
case of all of the cooking modes except the hot air mode. During the
process of steam dissipation, a dosed quantity of steam is ejected from the
oven into the environment. This prevents an excessive amount of steam from
escaping from the oven when the door is opened. If so required the door
can be opened as soon as operation has been completed. In this case the
process of steam dissipation will be much shorter.
– At the end of the steam dissipation, water is pumped back in the water tank.
– As long as the oven temperature exceeds 80 °C, the clear text display will
indicate “residual heat”.
• Should any water have collected on the bottom of the oven (depending on the
heating mode), wipe this away with a soft cloth.
On opening the door, hot steam or hot air may escape from
the oven.
As a reminder, you could set the timer to 50 minutes after switching on the
oven (see page 41). The buzzer will then sound when the 50 minutes are
up.
The oven can also be switched off automatically, see page 42. Should
your products not have been baked right through by this time, extend the
baking period and bake until done. The product, in this case a loaf of
bread, is ready when you hear a hollow sound on tapping it.
