Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
600g Tomatoes, tinned
3 tbsp parsley, chopped
400g Chickpeas, tinned and drained
1tbsp rosemary, finely chopped
2 carrots, chopped
500mL vegetable stock
1 leek, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
Preparation
• Ensure that the stirring paddle is properly fitted before adding a
ll of the
ingredients to the inner cooking pot.
• Close
the lid and press the ON | MENU button repeatedly to select the
Soup
program.
• During cooking, press the STIR button to start/stop stirring, as required.
• Keep the lid closed during cooking.
• Serve the soup chunky or blend with a stick mixer
for a smoother
consistency.
Mushroom Soup
Ingredients
300g mushrooms
2 tbsp flour
2 celery sticks, chopped
800mL vegetable stock
1 onion, chopped
100mL double cream
1/2 leek, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1 garlic glove, crushed
Preparation
• Ensure that the stirring paddle is properly fitted before adding
the
vegetables, flour, stock and seasoning to the inner cooking pot.
• Close
the lid and press the ON | MENU button repeatedly to select the
Soup
program.
• During cooking, press the STIR button to start/stop stirring, as required.
• Keep the lid closed during cooking.
• Towards the end of the cooking time, open the lid and add the double
cream and stir to combine.
• Blend with a stick mixer
for a smoother consistency before serving.
