Fitting the temperature sensor



Feed the temperature sensor into the opening in the environmental chamber.



Connect the temperature sensor to the connector on the DSA100 provided for
the purpose (



Chapter 5.8).

12.8

Covering the needle inlet

The needle inlet of the environmental chamber is covered in order to guarantee a
good regulation of the humidity. Silicone covers are supplied for this purpose:



three covers with small opening for sessile drop measurements



three covers with large opening for pendant drop measurements

Procedure

1. Feed the silicone cover over the dosing needle as far as it will go.

2. Set the required dosing height.

3. Slide the silicone cover down so that the cover rests on the dosing needle inlet.
