4.3.2 First aid measures
The first aid measures are depending on the ink used in the sytem and are descripted in the corresponding
MSDS of the ink and solvent. The MSDS can be downloaded form the Kortho website (

Warning labels
The labels of the ink bottle and the solvent bottle are warning labels.
‘Warning’ indicates that harm to the user or damage to the printer is possible when the user is neglecting the
risk and safety phrases. The user can be exposed to (severe) injury.
4.3.4
Caution labels
The label on the ink reservoir (Fig. 4.4 B) is a caution labels. ‘Caution’ indicates that, when the user is
neglecting the procedures, the coding unit is at risk of damage.
Use only the Kortho GJ ink type that is noted on the inkservervoir (Fig. 4.4 A), this because other ink is
probably not chemical compatible with the materials used in the GraphicJet X18 and the ink that is already
present in the inkreservoir. Due to the use of other inks the coding unit can develop leakage and/or the
printhead nozzles can become clogged.
Refill the ink reservoir only if the low ink indicator on the control panel is lit. Refill with up to 200 ml ink
(Fig. 4.4 B). Absolutely no more than 200ml, otherwise there is a chance the ink reservoir will overflow
and/or the printhead will start bleeding.
