Clean the frontplate and gaskets

Place the gaskets and frontplate.

Fasten the frontplate screws.

20.

Fasten the printhead screws.

21.

Fasten the PIB screws.

22.

Connect the the new ink tube to the the ink filter. Twist the filter tube before connecting the new
inkt tube, so there is no tension on the connection and tubing after the new ink tube is connected.

23.

Connect the data cable and low ink connector to the PIB.

24.

Close the printhead housing. Refer to subsection 10.4.3.

25.

Prime the excessive air from the system.

26.

The printer is now ready to print.

10.4.6

Replacing the ink filter

Open the printhead housing. Refer to subsection 10.4.2.

Disconnect the ink filter from the ink tube by turning the couplings anti-clockwise.

Disconnect the ink filter from the tubing by turning the filter anti-clockwise.

Place the new filter by performing instructions 3 and 2 in reverse direction.

Wipe the printhead frame clean in case of spilled ink.

Close the printhead housing. Refer to subsection 10.4.3.

Prime the excessive air from the system, refer to subsection 10.4.4.

The printer is now ready to print.

10.5 Updating system software

The system software can be updated, see section 9.2.6.
