Integrated AC power cord
Step 5a: Connecting the AC power cord – standard connection
• Integrated AC power cord is pre-installed during fabrication,
being approximately 1.5 metres long.
• You can adjust the AC power cord to specific local conditions
(the maximum length of the cable is about 4.5 m).
1. Lift up the foam auto-adhesive foil edging the power cord
(situated on the back side of the device, on the left).
2. Take the integrated AC power cord out of its guiding groove
and adjust it to the desired length.
3. Then push the AC power cord back
into its guiding groove.
Step 5b: Connecting the AC power cord – fixed wire connection
Caution!
Uncovered electrical components! Your life might be endangered by electricity
or fire! Do not forget to switch electricity off before mounting.
1. Cut the AC power cord by using an ap -
propriate tool (e.g. side cutting pliers).
2. Connect the integrated AC power cord
with the power cord in the building ele -
ment in the mounting box located in the
wall (“under the plaster”), e.g. a chande
-
lier terminal .
