Step 1: Marking the drilled holes and core hole drilling.
Caution!
Drilling may damage cables, wires or pipes located inside the wall. Before you
start mounting, check the mounting location for any cables, wires or pipes (e.g.
water system pipes) by means of an appropriate testing appliance:
1. Align the enclosed drilling templated on a suitable
place by means of a water level – see “Recommend
-
ed mounting location”.
2. Mark two drilled fixing holes and core hole (for air
taken from the outside). If needed, mark also a
supplementary fixing hole (B) used for the device’s
optional securing.
3. Drill the core hole (
∅ ≥
82 mm). In order to do this,
level the hole saw drilling bit at an angle of ap -
proximately 2° to 5° and make the air passage in the
direction to the outer wall.
Caution!
If the KORAVENT 100 device is mounted in combination with a canal leading in
the wall, you must observe and comply with relevant mounting instructions.
