Step 2: Drilling out the fixing holes and installing the fixing screws
1. Drill two marked fixing holes and if needed, also the
complementary fixing hole (B) (all drilled holes having
a
∅
of 8 mm and minimal depth of 45 mm)
2. Put two dowels type S8 (enclosed in the package)
into the drilled holes, or eventually put another dowel
into the complementary fixing hole (B).
Note: You will need to provide yourself the appropri -
ate dowels to be used in accordance to the proper -
ties of the wall (e.g. plasterboard).
3. Screw in two countersunk mushroom head wood
screws DIN 7995 – 5 × 50 mm (delivered as stan
-
dard) into the plugs up to the remaining 8 mm.
Step 3: Putting the PVC ventilation pipe into the drilled core hole
1. Shorten the PVC ventilation pipe (enclosed in the
package) to the value corresponding to the wall
thickness (dimension marked
X ) .
2. Put the ventilation pipe into the drilled hole
(both ends must be in one level with the wall).
