Recommendations on mounting the PVC ventilation pipe
The PVC ventilation pipe must be sealed up in a professional way on both the outer and the inner
(room) side, in the connecting chink (contact space between the ventilation pipe and the drilled
core hole) .
It is necessary to follow and observe the following principles:
•
Dimension the cross section of the gap sufficiently to compensate for possible material working
•
Insulate the connection gap (with thermal insulation)
•
Tighten the connection gap on the outside safely to prevent the in-leak of rain water
•
Tighten the connection gap on the room side air-tight
•
Keep the principle: tighter inside than outside
Heat insulation
With the chink width > 6 mm, it is absolutely necessary for all wall-mounted systems to be
insulated without any cavities, which means insulation carried out with the use of appropriate
insulation materials. Clean the connecting chink. Adhesive surfaces must be clean and free of any
fat . You must remove remnants of any other insulation materials in particular .
