Safety instructions
• This device can be used by children aged 8 or older and also by persons with reduced physi -
cal, sensorial or mental capabilities or those who have a lack of experience and knowledge
when they are supervised or when they have been instructed on the safe use of the device and
understand danger(s) resulting from using it. Children must NOT play with the device. Cleaning
and user maintenance must NOT be carried out by children without supervision.
Notice!
The device in operation is connected to the AC 230 V mains. Your life
might be endangered by electricity or fire. In order to avoid personal
injuries and damage to property strictly observe and comply with the
following:
• Connect the European-standard power plug on the connection cable only to an
appropriate walll socket of the AC 230 V mains.
• If the electric cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by a customer
service company or an expert having similar qualification.
• If it is necessary to perform some work with connection to the AC 230 V mains,
these may only be performed by an exper having relevant qualification.
• When fitting the power cord in the wall part of the installation, it is necessary to
make sure all pole power supply leads have been disconnected.
• When working with the electrical voltage distribution network or home installa -
tion network, it is absolutely necessary to strictly comply with relevant regula -
tions valid in a particular country .
• If a solid object or liquid penetrates the inside space of the device, stop operat -
ing it immediately and disconnect it from the mains.
Instructions for cleaning the device
• The outer parts of the device’s case can be cleaned with an appropriate piece of cloth (it can
be dampened with soapy water or dishwashing detergent).
• The G3 dust filter may only be cleaned manually (e.g. using a vacuum cleaner, washing it in
dishwashing detergent which is able to dissolve fat). The filter must NOT be washed in a wash -
ing machine!
• When cleaning it, do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or detergents containing solvent,
since doing so may result in damaging the surface of the device.
• Be careful to prevent any liquid from getting inside the device when cleaning it.
