Step 4: Drilling the fixing holes and inserting fixing screws
1. Placing the ventilation pipe from the outside:
place a partition layer on the bottom of the
chink (e.g. a round string) in order to avoid
unwanted adhesion.
2. Sealing up the outer cover grid: apply sealing
matter (not enclosed in the package) around
the mouthpiece of the cover grid. The
mouthpiece is included in the package.
3. Installation of the outer cover grid:
– Slats must be face down and they must be
in horizontal position .
– Insert the grid’s mouthpiece into the venti -
lation pipe .
– Push the grid firmly against the wall in order
to ensure that silicone was distributed
evenly and sealed up the ventilation pipe .
