Sealing up the PVC ventilation pipe on the inner (room) side of the wall
In order to prevent any warm air from the room to the outside wall, the connecting chink on the
inner (room) side of the wall must be airtight. We recommend to use acrylate for sealing the place
up (observe and comply with specifications given by the manufacturer).
1. Placing a partition layer:
place a partition layer on the
bottom of the chink (e.g. a
round string) in order to avoid
unwanted adhesion.
2. Sealing up the connecting
chink: apply sealing matter
(not enclosed in the package)
around the connecting chink
of the PVC ventilation pipe.
Sealing up the PVC ventilation pipe on the outer side of the wall
In order to prevent penetration of humidity into the outer side of the wall, the seal of the outer
connecting chink must be placed all around it and it must be durable (sealing in order to prevent
penetration of precipitation humidity). We recommend silicone for sealing material (observe and
comply with specifications given by the manufacturer).
