These messages indicate errors which you must correct before a print job
can continue or the printer status returned to “Ready”.

Blinking Memory Overflow or Job
too Complex Hold down the Cancel
button for more than 5
seconds to cancel the
print job. Decrease
the amount of data to
be printed (for exam-
ple, by decreasing the
resolution or by print-
ing only a few pages
at a time), and then try
printing again. If that
does not solve the
problem, install an
optional memory mod-
ule.
Communication Error. Check the printer
cable.
